THE PROPERTY
Set in the stunning grounds of Mount Tabor House, a Grade II Listed Rothschild House and converted stables, this is the only new build house within this private, gated development. There are spectacular far reaching views over rolling countryside towards the Whipsnade lion and Dunstable Downs.

This contemporary home offers spacious, bright open plan living accommodation with triple aspect sitting room featuring a limestone fireplace, dining area and kitchen, creating the perfect setting for entertaining, complemented by a semi-circular seating area which takes advantage of the views. The ground floor also includes a spacious entrance hall, cloakroom, and utility room all with solid oak flooring throughout. The modern fitted kitchen overlooks the orchard and has granite work surfaces, including an island unit with breakfast bar and is complete with integrated appliances including a coffee machine.

Upstairs, the feeling of light and space continues, and features three double bedrooms. The master bedroom overlooks the gardens with uninterrupted views of the countryside beyond and benefits from a modern en-suite shower room, while a contemporary family bathroom serves the remaining two rooms.

Outside, the property benefits from a well stocked, beautifully maintained, wrap-around garden, surrounded by box and escallonia hedging and wrought iron railings with stone paved seating areas offering the opportunity to follow the sun and enjoy the idyllic setting and unspoilt views.

Finally, with two allocated car parking spaces and additional visitor spaces within the three acres of securely gated communal gardens and orchard, this stunning home would be equally ideal for those seeking a secure ‘lock up and go`, a professional couple, or a move to downsize.

CHARGES

LOCATION
This historic, pretty village is situated in the county of Buckinghamshire, approximately 6 miles north-west of Tring.

Much of the core village architecture is ‘Tudor Revival` in style, erected by the Rothschild family in the 19th century as homes for employees of their Mentmore Estate. Many of these properties still display the cypher `H de R`, in recognition of Hannah de Rothschild, along with the year of construction. They remained part of the Mentmore Estate until well into the 20th century, but today are all privately owned.

Communication links nearby include the A41, A5, and M1. There are mainline train stations in Tring and Leighton Buzzard (London Euston in approx. 35 and 40 mins respectively), and Aylesbury (London Marylebone in around 55 mins).

The village plays host to many community activities and, for walkers and ramblers, some of the finest countryside is to be found on the doorstep. Nearby towns offer a comprehensive range of shopping and recreational facilities, from the boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops in the market towns of Tring and Leighton Buzzard, to the department stores, leisure centres, theatres and multi-screen cinemas of Aylesbury and Milton Keynes.

Schooling is excellent, with Wingrave C-of-E Combined School, Cottesloe School in nearby Wing, and Grammar Schools in Aylesbury.
